Robo Race 2026

A competitive robotics event designed to test robot design skills, microcontroller-based control systems, mechanical stability, and precision driving through hands-on engineering challenges.

Eligibility

Robot Specifications & Regulations

The robot must be remotely operated, either wired or wireless.
Integration of a programmable microcontroller (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, etc.) is compulsory.
Ready-made or commercially available RC toy cars are not permitted.
The robot’s dimensions must not exceed 30 cm × 30 cm × 30 cm at the beginning of the race.
Touching or lifting the robot during the race will result in immediate disqualification.

Technical Q&A – 30 Marks

Winners will be decided based on which team completes the track in lowest time

Total Marks: 100

Penalty System

Hitting an obstacle: −3 Marks per hit.
Crossing the track boundary: −5 Marks.
Manual intervention during the race: −10 Marks or race score will be reduced to zero.
Failure to complete the track within 3 minutes: Maximum 20 Race Marks will be awarded.
